Shellhut Entertainment Co., Ltd. was formed in 2005 as a subsidiary of Shellhut Co., Ltd., a major shell craft manufacturer and worldwide exporter located in Bangkok, Thailand. The company co-finances and produces animation, with a well-established international network of pre-production, production, and post-production partners.

Over the recent years, Shellhut Entertainment has gathered a team of professionals from Hollywood in the United States, the United Kingdom and Asia, forming a global network to develop unique animation-based Intellectual Property which is internationally appealing to kids and young-at-heart audience. The company focuses on projects that are easily adapted into a wide variety of media to maximize potential revenue streams for its partners and shareholders. These include feature animation, advertising, TV, mobile, telephony WAP technology, comic books, merchandising, etc.

Many full-length feature films and series are in the development process with outstanding scripts, CGI characters and sample animations, targeting international TV and theatrical release.

Shelldon animated TV series, for instance, has so far been translated into 30 different languages, and broadcast in more than 180 countries around the world including NBC and Telemundo channel in the United States, France 5 in France, Mediacorp in Singapore, NTV7 in Malaysia, etc.
