MQDC Pattaya, Amara Watersports, Rak Talay Sanay Baan Amphoe community enterprise, and Blue Carbon Society collaborated to organize the 4th LITTLE HEROES activity for 20 children from Wat Na Chom Thian School and 15 students from The 10 pieces of Garbage Project to learn English for free. These 35 children were paddling to pick up trash from the sea and did the beach clean-ups.
Mrs. Amara Wijithong, a former Thai national windsurfer, was there as a speaker to educate about “Up Cycling”and lead the activity. After finishing the first session, Mr. Anusorn Sainapha, the chairman of Rak Talay Sanay Baan Amphoe community enterprise, taught children how to transform plastic waste into bottle bricks. After having fun doing bottle bricks, children participated in “Beach Detective Activities” to explore more about nature, which was arranged by the Saraphan Pansuk team. At the end of the day, they all appreciated hearing from Apipatnapong Muangprakai (Dream), a representative from the Blue Carbon Society, on "Get to know the blue world, including the importance of the sea and the problem of marine debris."
