T&B Media Global announces that its founder and CEO, Dr. Jwanwat Ahriyavraromp, creator of the international hit children’s TV series “Shelldon” has joined forces as a co-producer with Joe Tam, Esmond Ren, and Hans Canosa on Jackie Chan’s new feature film “Project X.” Jackie Chan will be joined by WWE superstar John Cena (The Marine, Daddy’s Home, Ferdinand, Bumblebee) in this action-thriller helmed by Scott Waugh (Need for Speed, Act of Valor).
Project X centers around two ex-special forces individuals from China and the US (Chan and Cena) joining forces to escort a group of civilians to safety across a war torn country. Project X is an entirely Asian funded project and will be filmed all in China using local talent. For both Scott Waugh and John Cena, this will be their first time working on a production that’s done 100% in China. The movie will feature both English and Mandarin and will be created for a global release.
“I met Jackie just to talk about opportunities to work together,” said Dr. Jwanwat Ahriyavraromp, CEO of T&B Media Global, “but after discovering that Jackie is so much more multi-dimensional than being an international movie star, with environmental values aligned to those of my wife’s and my values instilled in our non-profit Blue Carbon Society, I knew we had to work together. If not in making movies, then in helping to protect our environment.”
Dr. Jwanwat Ahriyavraromp is the creator of the animated TV series, Shelldon, which has been aired in over 180 countries and translated into over 30 languages.
